Live Compost Worms

Our worms are packed fresh on Mondays and posted either Monday or Tuesday. Please ensure orders are in before Sunday night to ensure next week delivery.

Our compost worm mix consists of Reds, Tigers, African Nightcrawlers and the occasional Blue. Compost worms are available in 500 worms (150 grams), 1000 worms (300 grams), 2000 worms (600 grams) and 4000 worms (1.2 kilograms) lots. 500 worms are perfect for giving your existing worm farm a boost. 1000 worms and 2000 worms lots are ideal for setting up new farms. 4000 worms is great for larger scale set ups.

Our compost worm mix contains a majority of adult worms. Over the years we have found that by separating out the babies and only sending mature worms they have travelled and transferred into their new home better. The adults will already be laying cocoons and this will help to establish your worm population quicker.

Your worms will be ready to munch on scraps straight away but please allow them time to settle into their new home and adapt to the new food. Start with small amounts of food and pay close attention to how fast the food is being consumed and increase the feeding rate as the population grows.
